Hello and thank you for considering us for your fundraising needs!
Funny Guy Productions LLC has been producing professional comedy shows since 1996 and has been in the entertainment business since 1985!
So this is Not our first rodeo and we understand what it takes to produce a successful fundraiser show.  Comedian Dave Reilly is a master of Improv
and has hours of time tested material so that no 2 shows are ever really the same.  Dave acclimates his shows to the crowd thats in front of him so
you can be guaranteed a night of non stop laughs.  Dave always brings the crowd on a rollercoaster of laughter from the very first monte of the show.

In order to have a great result you will be required to acquire the following:

  • a venue that holds 200 or more people
  • a network of other people (parents) that will commit to selling tickets (Just 10 parents that can sell 5 couples tickets will get you 100 sold tickets!)
  • a committee to help set up the venue on the night of the event and man the door to accept tickets

We handle all of the promo to get the word out to the general public but the more tickets you sell in your network, the less we have to spend on social media advertising.
Just posting on Facebook is Not going to sell tickets.  So it’s important to get at least 6 to 10 parents on board to help promote the event.  The more, the better the results.

In addition to marketing we supply the following:

  • Online ticketing software
  • Artistic creation of flyers/posters
  • Boosting on Facebook if required (this cost would come off the top of ticket sales from both sides)
  • Comedian Dave Reilly and opening act with a 2+ hour show
  • A professional 2000 watt PA system that delivers perfect sound to every seat
  • Stage lighting and backdrops for a very professional look.
  • Portable stage (if required)
  • Background music before the show
  • Banners and street signs are also available for just the cost of materials from our in house printing dept

COST REQUIREMENTS AND INFO FOR A
DAVE REILLY FUNDRAISER COMEDY NIGHT SHOW:

FLAT FEE SHOW (Good option for a group that does this all the time and knows what to expect in attendance)

Our standard flat fee for up to 300 people is $2150.00 for up to a 2 hour show for ANY type comedy night event (private or fundraiser). We can make the show shorter if requested but the fee will remain the same because once you book our date, we loose the ability to recoup the lost time. The majority of our shows are on Weekend dates so Friday and Saturday booking dates are very valuable to us. If you would like to do a weekday show we can discuss a better pricing model for you. But keep in mind that weekday events are next to impossible to sell tickets for. So unless you have a built in crowd, we would suggest booking a weekend date. especially if it’s a fund raising effort. If you are planning a show greater than 250 people, please call us for pricing.

DOOR DEAL SPLIT (great option for a group thats trying this for the first time or wants to reduce the risk)

If you are a  NON PROFIT or CHARITY organization that has access to a venue that can seat 200 or more people and would like to do be considered for a 50/50 partnership show we can discuss your options.

You would have to have a strong group of members that would assist you in marketing the sales of tickets to friends, family and local people. (There is a 50 ticket minimum guarantee required for this type show) We would also create a paid online marketing campaign that would be deducted off the top of ticket sales before splitting profits with you. Our normal 50/50 deal would be 200 or more tickets sold at $30 each and we split $15 each. We supply all of the online ticketing, marketing materials, designs, social media posts, professional PA sound, stage lights, stage backdrops and comedian talent for the show. Your group would supply the venue, set up and breakdown of all the seating/tables and managing the door on the night of the event.

200 seat venue would net about $2500 in tix plus all of your raffle profits that night. (All raffle money is 100% yours)
300 seat venue would net about $4500 in tix plus all of your raffle profits that night. (All raffle money is 100% yours)
400 seat venue would net about $6000 in tix  plus all of your raffle profits that night. (All raffle money is 100% yours)

The SHOW

This show is NOT like any other stand up show you may have seen outside of a theater or comedy club setting. The Dave Reilly show comes with a professional PA system that assures that every guest will have a perfect sound experience and not miss a single laugh. We also supply stage lights to assure that the performers can be seen from all angles and seats. The set up of our show takes about 2 hours and we would need to have access to the venue at least 2 hours BEFORE you open the door to the public. So if doors open at 5PM for an 8PM show we would still need to get in 2 hours earlier than doors opening. This would require us to set up at 3PM. We do not skimp on the set up or the equipment and we will NOT use your band or DJ equipment. So please make sure have at least a 16 foot wide by 8 foot deep area to set up our stage area. If you dont have an actual stage at the venue we may be able to supply a portable one. We also need to set up a “back stage” area that is in eye sight of the actual stage and no more than 25 feet away. This area will be blocked off with curtains as a changing area and it’s where the comedians stay hidden until showtime.

DO NOT BOOK A VENUE THAT HAS MUSICAL ENTERTAINMENT HAPPENING IN ANOTHER ROOM ON THE SAME NIGHT AS THIS COMEDY SHOW. This never works out well and the sound will 100% bleed into the room and cause a major distraction for the audience and comedians. You must confirm with the venue in writing that there will be no other music being played in or outside of that venue on your show night.

You can start the booking process by filling out our online booking form at www.davereilly.com/booking

I’ve seen comedians, so I thought, until I saw you last night. Meridan /Wallingford will never be the same. I was still talking about you to people tonight. I laughed so hard my head hurt. I related to the Christmas tree story, because I did everything you described, and the bathroom story, a scream and oh so true!!!!!. I can’t wait to see you again

I just got home from your show in Reading. You were fantastic! I laughed my a– off! Your show was amazing from start to finish. I’ve seen a lot of comedians and you are definitely one of the funniest I’ve seen in a looooooong time. Your bit about the Ladies Room had me crying. As a recovering person, I found your 12 step/recovery stuff absolutely hysterical too. I’m going to tell everyone I know that they should see you if you
are ever in their area and I hope to see you on HBO sometime soon.
Thanks for a night of laughs!!

patty a new fan from worcester

I did laugh so hard my face hurt. You know when you are googling over a baby and smiling so much your cheek bones ache. Well thats what happened. I heard about the show last minute and went out with 2 friends to see you. I am so glad I did. Laughter is truly the best medicine and what you said about life being to short was exactly what I needed to hear. I am going through some really trying times right now and you are what the doctor ordered. I have only seen comics on Tv. So I was amazed with how hard you worked that crowd. Everything you talked about I could relate to.
I am a recently seperated female 46 years young. You talked about my soon to be ex, Hes the one that had the control of the remote, and I appreciated your humor on that subject. The expressions you make are hillarious. Thanks for coming to” Wallyworld” and Meriden and making my weekend a lot more enjoyable. I am gonna try and go to another one of your side splitting performances. I will have to bring a lot more of my friends too.
They also could benefit from your Act.
Take care……….
